Possession of uncontrolled internationally controlled substances

June 27, 2024

News

In May 2024, our laboratory discovered that it was an internationally regulated substance that was not registered.
It was confirmed that the employee was in possession of thorium nitrate, and we have reported this to the government.

The radiation level at the location where the debris was found was approximately the same as that in a normal natural environment.
There will be no impact on employees or the surrounding area.

Going forward, we will strive to manage information appropriately in accordance with laws and regulations.
